    Hi all
I have been working on designing a toolbar to help with planning numeracy and mathematics. On it I have linked to various parts of the strategy and other web sites so as to avoid navigating the whole site. You will also find links to APP materials and other useful sites.
Also on the bar you will find a chat room and an RSS feed to BBC education news. This toolbar is in its infancy and if you have any great planning sites that you regularly use then I could easily put them on. You won't need to reload the bar as it will instantly update, (If you have the ********** toolbar then you know what I mean)
Download it and give it a go! If you don't like it, it easily uninstalls.

Hope you find it useful. :)

It might help if I gave you the link! Doh!

  3. Just keep in mind that some schools frown upon the Conduit brand toolbars because they repeatedly phone home and cause a lot of network traffic. And while I understand the thrill of making your very own toolbar, does it really do all that much more than simply telling people to set up some bookmarks in their browser?

I understand your point Brenden. However, I have found these bars to be really useful. I have made one to complement our school website. It is installed on all the school computers so kids and teachers can get instant quick access 'selected' sites. Lots of the kids have it downloaded on their home computers and I have found it a great way to push educational sites/games to them. I take you point that it is another way of bookmarking sites - but it is more than that. It is a list of sites that can be selected and added to by the teacher and then 'pushed' quickly to others using the toolbar.
I just felt that producing one just with sites on for teachers may be of use.
    Thanks for your comments.

I like your toolbar and have downloaded it. Thanks! Is it possible to add links to it? For example I would like to add:
    http://www.learningclip.co.uk/
    http://www.teacherled.com/
    http://www.topicox.co.uk/
    http://www.topmarks.co.uk/

    Thanks again :)

    Thanx!

Just added them to useful sites for planning.

    Any more anyone can suggest?

  7. I've just installed your toolbar and it is great. I especially like the instant links to the year group parts of the framework.
Only bit I'm not so keen on is the rolling news as not keen on the constant movement on the screen. Is there any way of switching that bit off?

Thanks for the toolbar, it will be really useful

    Hi

Thanks for the feedback. If you click on the menu and select toolbar options there is a tick box where you can hide the news ticker.
If you would like to see any sites on the bar then please let me know.

  9. Brill! Thanks for that! Only one click away from all my favourites now!

I've taken off the annoying scrolly news feed as requested and put a drop down news feed instead.

Thanks for your comments so far. Glad you like it.
