Primary PE warm ups ideas

  1. I have just logged in to try get some ideas for warm ups and warm downs too, anyone who has a bank and wouldn't mind emailing them to me on vix_dk@yahoo.co.uk it would be hugely appreciated!

  10. what about' fruit bowl' . Chn stand in circle ( except 1), draw chalk circle for each one to stand in. choose five fruits ( apple, orange etc) and repeat round the circle (doesn't matter if same number or not as long as there are about 3, or 4 of each). The child standing in middle calls a fruit and those whose fruit is called must change places and the one in t6he middle must take the place of one of them as they run to change places. the one left in the middle calls out a fruit and they change places and so on. the one in the middle can call out 2, or more fruits. or say fruit bowl and all must change places.

  12. Can I suggest you subscribe to pepod podcasts through the itunes store. These are free podcasts created by 2 PE specialists on a variety of Primary PE topics including some suitable for warm ups. Each podcast lasts about a minute and can be used on an IWB or portable video MP3 player.
