I have just completed my NQT year, and am subject lead for Spanish at my primary school. Primary Languages Network (https://primarylanguages.network/) has been suggested as a possible good alternative for our current provision. I wonder if anyone has experience of using PLN and can give me some feedback? It certainly looks good, but I would be grateful for some advice. I'm really keen to hear from any MFL leaders in the Surrey area - particularly Kingston and Richmond - who are using this, or have used it in the past. Thank you!

I put a whole load of quirky ideas (eg Spanish toothbrushing song) that I spotted around the place (I live in Spain) on a blog a few years ago. I let it lapse when other projects began to take off, feel free to explore... http://spain4primary.blogspot.com/

Great blog, Jeremyinspain. Some really interesting entries that will definitely appeal to the children in my class. Thank you for posting the link to it.

Thanks, bonxie. The other projects I was working on (the Jeremy in Spain books) are now finished, and I'm also now semi-retired, so I'll start keeping an eye out for more things that might be of interest and flag them up here as I add them.

Hello dianacro, are you a member of the Languages in Primary Schools FB group? If you do search on there, you'll find lots of opinions. Also, the PLN has its own FB page with useful info.
I can also recommend Languages Angels.
I teach Spanish in 3 primaries. My new scheme of work and all my resources are here https://www.lightbulblanguages.co.uk/resources-pr-sp.htm I've also done a series of home-learning videos which would be good for teacher upskilling.https://www.lightbulblanguages.co.uk/home-spanish.htm
