Primary French

Discussion in 'Modern foreign languages' started by regencyrob, Feb 20, 2011.

  1. I am having some problems keeping my children interested in French.
I teach year 5. We are currently using the petit pont resources but it relies havily on the IWB and I would like to use some more roleplay and conversation.
  2. sorry I meant to say - any tips for improving my French lessons in year 5?

    Have you tried introducing:
    • pairs card
    • snakes and ladders
    • battleships
    • nought and crosses
    • to stimulate speaking?
they all work well at KS3 so I see no reason your y5's wouldn't like them too!
