    This is just an extension to part 1. It is highly unlikely your expertise would increase by any noticeable extent within the month or so that it takes for a job to be readvertised.

    Either way, re-applying ain't gonna change anything........ they reconsider or they don't. Cast your net....
     
  7. I was thinking more like a year or two later. Common sense would tell me that it's OK in that case, but I thought I'd better check!
     
  8. Sigh. I was hoping (being overly optimistic?) that it might mean "We didn't quite get the depth of field we were hoping for, so are casting our nets more widely and will still consider previous applicants (if we must)."
