    Any help much appreciated.

Is PPA based on contracted hours or the number of hours you actually teach? My contracted hours is based on 23 hours (.92), however I only 'teach' 19 hours. So 2 or 3 PPA's?

Where is this 'extra 2 where you can be directed to do things' from? Only NQTs are entitled to an additional 10%.

I suppose because the OP says they are contracted for 23 but teach 19, making it 2 PPA plus 2 other paid periods.

Ah! I see. I thought it was a suggestion of an 'entitlement' for all teachers to 2+2.
    My mistake.
