If it were 6, I'd agree with you - but after 9 is definitely ok in my book.

I'd say 9.00 is ok as well.... if you've got a big job to do you have to get stuck in early (Sorry!)
  5. I agree 9am is OK. You should have gone to bed earlier!! [IMG]

You could always try a hand drill Milkandchalk - what is it you're building? ;-)

  9. What exactly are they working on?
  10. You should be up and getting ready for church, then.
  11. 9:10 is perfectly reasonable to me.
  12. 9.10 wouldn't bother me either.

No issue with 9:00am so far as I can see
  14. I think 9 is a little early for a Sunday - after 10 is much more reasonable.
  15. I feel another thread coming along - don't want to distract from milk's!
  16. If I'm honest, that kind of noise irritates me at any time of day. But in terms of what's reasonable, yes, I think 9am is OK at the weekend.

    Distract away.
I'm grumpy and hungover, have to go out this afternoon and really don't want to.

I suppose after midday is okay but a weekday would be better. Still you have to go with the flow, there are millions of crazies who do not understand the importance of a lie-in.

Any time of day is an inconvenience when having to listen to other people's power tools whilst trying to enjoy a relaxing weekend/read a book/listen to music or just generally catch up on some sleep.
It really annoys me when my retired neighbours chose to get the power tools out on the first day of the school holidays at 9am. As if they can't drill away on any other day when I'm not around at that hour to be disturbed!

    Perhaps they do
