Potential trips for year 8 Spanish class in London??

Discussion in 'Modern foreign languages' started by urlifeline, Apr 16, 2012.

  1. Hello, I am a Spanish teacher in Croydon and have a year 8 class that is extremely enthusiastic and motivated. I would love to take them this term on a fun school trip somewhere in London (obviously Spanish related).
    I really have no idea!!
I would absolutely love any advice or ideas that anyone has!!
    Thanks so much,
    Matthew

    Try contacting the Consejeria?

  3. Thanks so much, that is a great idea I will definitely do that actually.
Does anyone else have any ideas for specific places in London?
    Thanks so much, really helpful.

The Instituto Cervantes is open to all but would only be worth a visit with a school group if they are hosting an exhibition, music recital or suitable film screening. Events are free.
You could take them for a Tapas meal.
Check out Tate Modern etc for any exhibitions of works by prominent Spanish artists.

I know it's not London but what about the Europa Centre in Havering?
