Post 16 or distance learning GCSE or IGCSE?

Discussion in 'English' started by phoebe14, Jul 21, 2012.

  1. My neighbour's daughter who is now in her early 20s wants to retrain to do something else as a career. In order to do this, she needs to improve upon her Maths and English GCSEs. What route would you recommend. I am unsure as I teach secondary level and don't really know of reliable distance or adult learning courses. The controlled assessments would also be difficult if not a full-time student as well...
    Any ideas/ advice, please?

Talk to her local community college who will likely run these courses for post-16.
