    Hi all,

I have an internal interview for assistant subject leader- very last minute with two day's notice for it. Could anyone with experience of this role or of interviewing for it suggest possible questions or topics that I could be preparing for? Only have tonight to do it in, so am feeling tense!

    Much appreciation in advance,

I am going to be a subject leader for the first time next year and am currently hiring for this role (to replace myself). Know where the areas of 'push' are for your department. I would ask about:
    intervention and monitoring for KS4
mentoring and delegating work to staff (how will you adapt to leadership)
how to raise the profile of reading/ boys' reading in particular
ideas for a dynamic and creative curriculum
ideas on how to integrate ICT into English more effectively
what do YOU think the role entails
I will put more up later if I can think of any, but really, these lead off of areas in our department that I know are important right now.
