Poems on a Theme!

  1. Hi all,
    I am really struggling to think of some lesson ideas for my current year one class on the Literacy unit 'Poems on a Theme'. I am going to be writing some poems on seasons and give them prompt questions such as what it looks like, feels like, etc. This unit of work is suposed to be two weeks lnong. I am really trying to encourage them to become indepedent writers but also allow them prompts to help them write poems. Help!!! poetry is not my strong point!!
