I've written seven new poems for your children for the Olympic Games and you can find them all on my website by Googling JOSIE'S POEMS and going to the Olympic Games Index. The most popular poem by far on my website at the moment is The Joy of Snowboarding:

"The thrills, the spills, the headlong flings
As man to snowboard grimly clings.
He glides, he turns, leaps through the air,,
And to this harsh wind heeds no care." - part of this popular poem.

I hope your children enjoy these poems and please do look at the others I've written in the various indexes whilst you are there.

  2. I will have a look.
We tried to steer children away from olympic winter sports for the moment as the summer games are the ones in the limelight.
The children (Y3) came up with some great poems that I was really impressed by!
