Discussion in 'English' started by beattielaura, Aug 25, 2010.

  1. Hi, I know this is from a while ago but I am doing teh same thing and I was wondering what you came up with. I have written a SOW for Romeo and Juliet and the literary Hritage poems in teh anthology under the conflct theme. Have you done smilar? perhaps we could share resources? I am really struggling with this. Can I assume you are doing late entry as we are?

    Dear Simon,
You might find these resources useful. Although
prepared with WJEC in mind, they could be adapted (as applicable) to
meet the demands of AQA. You will find resources on:

    • Romeo and Juliet and the theme of conflict. Poems covered
are: 'MCMXIV' (Larkin) and 'The Man He Killed' (Hardy).
    • Romeo and Juliet and the theme of male / female
relationships. Poems covered for this are: 'Sonnet 43' (Browning) and
      'Cousin Kate' (Rossetti).
