Please review our new Web 2.0 style English Dictionary

Discussion in 'English' started by rapidefs, Jan 30, 2011.

  1. RapiDefs.com is an English to
    English dictionary
(150,000 headwords) with a unique Web 2.0 user
    interface.

As you type letters in the search box, four words matching the typed
letters get displayed in real time, with their respective definitions.
As you keep typing more characters, the suggestions keep updating More…simultaneously.

During the limited trials we've conducted so far, it has been *extremely* well-received, especially by school students.
Please take a minute to review the resource and post your
feedback or suggestions to help us improve RapiDefs.com.

Rapid indeed! Why are the links at the top of the page not enabled?

  4. Thanks for the compliment.
While the primary (i.e. dictionary search) functionality of the site has been fully up, the other sections / pages of the site are still in the making.
The Say Something (guestbook) link is now live, though. [IMG]

Not wanting to appear rude, but... what's the point of it?
Are many people complaining that the 3 seconds it takes to open a regular dictionary search is just too long?
