I can't believe I'm coming up on a blank with this one so any ideas most appreciated. Rather than an extended piece of writing, how else do / could you assess competency in writing argument.

Narrative seems less problematic with the ubiquity of apps that enable various forms of animation, short film-making, storyboards, podcasts etc.

Informational - lots there with leaflets, infographics, wikis and so on.

But argumentative - all I can produce from my worn-out brain is a TED talk. Anything else? I'd like to offer choice.

    Thanks for the ideas.
