Please help me choose a song...

    ... for my class assembly. (Primary)

    It's all about dance, they will be demonstrating various different styles as solos/groups/whole class etc.

    I wanted to play an appropriate song as the rest of the school come in and out of the hall. Wanted it to be about dancing, and a fairly recent song. Only problem is, I have a complete mental block and cannot think of any. Any suggestions?

    'Dance The Night Away' - The Mavericks. A very smart track in that incorporates a number of different dance rhythms. Probably explains its popularity at wedding do's.

    Further back in time, 'Dancin' in the Street' - Martha and the Vandellas, or Jagger/Bowie

    I also agree with the Men Without Hats track mentioned above - very jolly.
