When I was doing my PGCE I dual trained as an English teacher. I therefore spent a lot of time on the English forums as well and they had a thread which was always added to and bumped up about recording books they had read to reinvigorate their reading lists for teaching. I was looking to start a similar one for Drama plays to know what to look for in the field of plays out their and yet to be written. So I figured you reply to this post in the following format. Title: e.g. Waiting for Goddot Playwright: Beckett cast: 2M (main parts) + 2 M secondary roles + 1 boy small part summed up in approx 10 words: theatre of absurd, existentialism, duologue, comedy moments etc. Appropriate for Key Stage: 5 Any other comments: Just thought this would be a nice reference point for people losing inspiration and a small library to dig through.
