  2. Argh this was meant to be a reply to an earlier thread! whoops! I am teaching the unit stories with historical settings alongside the school theme of Ancient Egypt - any help would be great!

  3. You could always use the story of Moses. The kids could watch Moses the prince of Egypt and read a version of the story for comparison. You could discuss how Moses mother must have felt when she gave him up, the pharaoh's feelings at different points in the story. Conscience alley about whether Moses should stay or go / whether the pharaoh should let the Jews leave etc.

    Be great for cross-curricular RE/PSHCE/ART etc.
