Planning maths away from the Primary Framework...useful advice?

Discussion in 'Primary' started by llov1_04, Mar 26, 2011.

  1. I wondered if anyone could help with advice. I am aware that a few of the teachers in the school teach
using the yearly LOs and Key LOs for their year group and therefore structure their termly planning around this and what the children need, rather than following the Framework blocks.
I personally dislike the Framework and wondered how many other people are planning from the yearly Learning Objectives
and Key objectives for the year group they teach. If so, how are you finding this? How do ou keep track of which learning objectives you have taught
and which need teaching again etc? Do you just use the yearly objectives that are used in the blocks in the Framework?
Any advice AT ALL would be so fantastic.
    Thanks in advance :)

  2. Why do you dislike the framework?
