Planning expectations

Discussion in 'Headteachers' started by Giggleswick, Feb 7, 2012.

  1. Big debate in our school at the moment - just how much planning should we be doing and in how much detail? Is there a concensus or just whatever works for your school? What are OFSTED looking for in planning?

We can plan in our own way but the objectives must be clear and annotations are required. If we find it easier we can even use MTPs,so long as they are fairly detailed and again annotated after lessons/assessments.
May change again but at the moment it fits in with my way of working. I find scribbling notes to myself easier than detailed word processed bits.
