Can anyone suggest good resources / websites for the teaching of phonics.
Think popular culture to engage interest. Film/Tv characters,
children's names, toys etc. Real objects rather than pictures. Mr Thorne does phonics is quite popular. Rainbow resources has some IWB activities. Look for forum in early years called 'must have websites' they'll be stuff on there.
also has some great stuff.
Thanks for all that. Do you know of any more?
