I have a 2.5yr old and i would like to get a phonics laptop type toy to help him lear his letter sounds. However this is one of those tasks which is easier said than done as many of the toys only do letter names rather than their sounds or pronounce them incorrectly. Has anyone found a really good one?

The best thing I ever bought was a hand held 'computer' (called a Winky) from Sainsburys - a bargain at £6.99 at LO taught herself the alphabet in 2 days...bonus!
