Discussion in 'Thinking of teaching' started by nmckendrick, Aug 12, 2011.

  1. Hi there!
Is anyone else applying for a PGDE at Edinburgh University for the 2012-13 session?
This post can be used as a forum for anyone else who wants to share their views, experiences or any advice on all aspects of the process.
I'm hoping to teach French and am currently trying to organise Work Experience here in Edinburgh.
    Over to you...

  4. I'm thinking of applying for the 2012-13 session.

Do you do have to do a subject-orientated PGDE degree at Edinburgh Uni?? I want to teach IT ... but according to this table (http://www.scotland.gov.uk/Publications/2007/10/11152113/2) Edinburgh Uni don't offer a "computing" PDGE course.

Still doing my research into how it all works
