PGCE - pass/fail or graded?

I was just wondering if anyone can help with a question.
Do you get a mark for your PGCE or is it a pass/fail qualification?
If a mark is given, is it a combination of your academic assignments and your teaching practice or is it based on one or the other?

The PGCE qualification is simply a pass once you have it (at the end of the year you may well be graded as outstanding, good or otherwise, which will be put onto a document that will be given to your tutor in your NQT year). Your academic assignments can go towards counting towards a full MA in Education (60 credits out of 180), although this is totally optional.

Hope this is helpful for you.
