That's what I said!
I still don’t understand why the Edexcel A level issue is in the news but OCR can set an A level question which has an serious error in it and no one mentions it.
Now an Edexcel Further Maths paper due to be sat on Thursday has been completely replaced. One centre is "under investigation".
Which paper and question number was that?
It was OCR MEI A level. The info given in parametric equation problem had a mistake in it.
The text said one thing, and the diagram another.
Perhaps it is because nobody has complained about it.
Is this the Pure and Mechanics paper, Q12? If so, I must be being dense, but I can't see the problem.
No it's FM. It's a parabola question with the text saying (4t^2,4t) and the diagram saying (4t^2,8t). The diagram is correct.
Considering the amount paid per student entry, the proof checking of the printed papers leaves a lot to be desired.
