Peripatetic Piano Tutor Supply work

Discussion in 'Music' started by ruth_willow, May 20, 2011.

  1. Hello,

I have worked privately as a piano teacher for 7 years both self employed and with an agency and have 6 months experience teaching in a school abroad. I hold my ABRSM grade 8 qualification and a BMus degree in Music (1st).

I was hoping to get a teaching position in London from May onwards, working as a supply teacher to cover peripatetic piano teachers. Does anyone know if this is possible? Is there a central administration centre I could contact for schools in London?

    Thank you,

    Ruth

  2. You could try - CYM - centre for young musicians. If not outer boroughs or counties have their own music service eg Kent Music
