    Hello.

I'm in the process of applying for Teacher Training. I was just wondering whether anyone could give any insight into the differences in PGCEs with or without a subject specialism in primary school. PE is the only subject available in my area currently.

    Thanks in advance.

Primary schools have Curriculum Leaders for each of the subjects, so I would have thought having a subject specialism as well as being trained to teach al the primary subjects would be an advantage.

Thank you, I thought that may be the case.

Primary with maths is also available. A decent future proofing if I ever saw one.

I can see how that would be future proofing but unfortunately there are no Primary with maths courses anywhere in my area.
