PCGE or PGDE best for international schools?

    Hi all,

Could anyone advise whether a gaining a PGCE (England) or PGDE (Scotland) would be better for applying to international schools, or if it doesn't generally make difference and they have the same recognition?

Following on from this, if doing a PGCE through a university route, are there any particular universities looked on more favourably by international schools (e.g. IOE/UCL, Oxbridge), and if so, which ones?

I realise this is a very generalised question as international schools are not homogenous, but would very much appreciate any advice or guidance in this area.

    Thanks!
