  1. I am looking for a part time teaching job - do these exist?

Also what is with the APPs at the mo?

    Questions? Questions...

  3. Teacher numbers were cut in my school last year - we got around having to make people redundant because teachers offered to cut their hours. Seems it's not a good time to get it job at the moment.

  4. They do exist. I have been working part-time for 6 years. You have to be flexible and accept that sometimes timetables don't work out very well and you have to go to school just to teach two lessons - but it works for me. GOod luck.

  5. Half of my department is part time: believe me they do exist.
You're probably better writing to headteachers to tell them you're interested in working PT for them: the cost of advertising vacancies on places like the TES is pretty high and expensive just for a PT job so you're more likely to get somewhere by contacting schools directly.
