Part time hours, PPA and NQT time

Discussion in 'New teachers' started by rlleasl2, Jan 19, 2011.

  1. I have been invited for an interview for a part time position (0.6).
How much PPA time should I expect to receive each week?
How much NQT time should I expect to receive?
  2. Your PPA and NQT time will be pro-rata. The school should spell out how it applies to your position. It will depend on what the full time allowances are and then you would get 60% of that. Exactly how much will depend on what the normal timetable would be for a teacher who is not a NQT and who has no additional repsonsibility.
