Overseas classroom conference UK-Quebec. Interested?

Discussion in 'Modern foreign languages' started by Trotteuse, Aug 29, 2011.

  1. Hi everyone,
I am a French Canadian teacher who used to teach French in the UK and I am now back home teaching English at primary school (Y1 to 6). I wondered if anyone would be interested in doing a conference classroom to classroom. I would use my Year 5 and 6 students for this, so I am open to be matched with Y5 to Y8 classrooms. My students could speak French to yours, and yours English to mine to start with and use the activities to assess their understanding. We could have the students prepare a presentation about their countries, explain a simple recipe, etc.
If your are seriously interested, please write to me. am_trotteuse@videotron.ca
    Thanks!
