Our children love maps!

Discussion in 'Early Years' started by harracaul, Jan 15, 2011.

  1. Our children have started making maps during Child Initiated Learning and we would like to take this further but not through pirates as they worked through this theme in nursery. Plus, some boys are adamant their maps don't have any treasure on them. Can anyone suggest any books that lend themselves to maps/journeys? Am thinking Bear Hunt, Safari Hunt, Magic Train Ride sort of thing.
  2. Thanks, those books look lovely.
  3. Great idea about the A to Z's etc, thanks!
