    Hi All
I teach a year 9 student who is high functioning autistic and extremely curious and demonstrates inventive thinking on an abstract level. As you might imagine I am finding it difficult to engage her in any kind of formal maths and I am struggling to think of ways to enthuse her natural inquisitiveness. I have looked at old maths coursework questions, but they just demand donkey work which she has no desire to engage in.
Any ideas will be gratefully received.
    Martin
