Ooutdoors ideas for Goldilocks and 3 Bears

Discussion in 'Early Years' started by kateyp, Feb 16, 2012.

  1. Just wondering if any of you creative types had any brilliant tried and tested ideas.
    So far I've thought of:
    - shed as cottage role play area
    - explore and sort hard/soft objects
    - willow tunnel area as forest to act out the story
    - build cottage using large construction blocks
I'm really struggling for creative/maths ideas.
Any ideas would be great - thanks [IMG]

  3. Maths - sorting chairs, bowls and beds by size. You could use different sized boxes for the beds.
Counting steps to the cottage from the edge of the forest
Your idea of building cottages will cover some aspects of SSM
Creative - could the children listen to the story on a CD player outside?
