I am an NQT and have previously used an online teaching platform. I was able to set assignments and class discussions in which pupils reply online so it turned into a virtual discussion. I can’t remember what is was called. Anybody any ideas?

    Google Classroom?
    Moodle?

It can be Easyclass perhaps. Or RCampus. I used Learnopia for my courses last summer, because it was quite easy to make combinations of PowerPoint presentations and videos. I thought about Wix as a learning platform and wanted to create one myself, but it didn't go well: I had to do my homework tasks and tests online for kids, but I couldn't properly check them, so I'm using Moodle now for my additional courses.

I am glad that Moodle is still finding favour.
