Can anyone tell me what the current hourly rate is for doing 1-2-1 tuition, please?
We pay £25 per hour. The tuition is for a 10 week block and we pay 12 hours so it includes any planning time.
Thank you. I thought it had gone up to £28 per hour, but couldn't find anything online about it now that the scheme is funded differently.
WE just use whatever the old funding was - I think it's £29 per hour. (Rest of England)
Here's the link: http://www.education.gov.uk/schools/pupilsupport/inclusionandlearnersupport/onetoonetuition/a0077125/funding-2010-11-for-use-until-31-august-2011-standards-fund
Thank you. That includes £4 on-costs so as a self-employed tutor, I guess that means I'll get £25 per hour.
Does this include primary schools because I dont think Ive ever been paid this much! I think we get about £22.
