Well if it is true I hope they make the vaccine necessary for travel to other countries that may make them change their minds. Though in the end it is their choice.

At least one in six Britons would refuse a vaccine against stupidity if it was ever invented.

Last I read, it was in fact fifty two in a hundred.

(though you’d need to protect their kids from it, fine if they set out to kill themselves, though).

Maybe it should be like for dogs: no vaccine, no travel.

Whilst I was younger/fitter I refused all opportunities for the flu jab because I prefer to gain immunity by being exposed / challenged by a live virus. It is only now that my health is not as good that I approach the situation with more caution and seek to protect myself from potentially life threatening diseases such as Covid-19.Life is about managing risk, which is why I do not ride a motorbike, do sports, take drugs or go on holiday to countries with poor sanitation.

But no young, fit person that I know has ever died, or even been seriously ill for a long time, from flu. We've never had a lockdown,or anything shut, due to flu (I am talking about my own long experience on this planet, and admit others might be different). That's why, even if I were 18, I'd have this. Given that the vast majority of parents vaccinate their kids against illnesses that haven't caused lockdowns, and can't kill grandparents (as in grandparents have almost certainly had MMR etc when they were young), but Covid quite likely could...it surprises me that most parents would have such vaccinations but refuse Covid vax.

I have to say that, shamefully, although I’m eligible for it, I’ve never taken up the offer of a flu vaccination. No other reason than I thought I didn’t need it. I’m not going to take it for granted again.

London and the SE most likley to get vaccinated
Scotland, Wales and the North least likely
    C2DEs least likely
    Men least likely
    Leavers least likely
    Conservatives least likely
    25-49 least likely
Those that rely on social media for Covid info least likely

Why believe your science teacher (qualified in science and educated & informed) or a doctor (even more educated in vaccines) when there's UTube.?
