We are thinking about skipping as an Olympic sport and so are going to write our own rhymes to skip to - bit of poetry!

  3. It would definitely be great for non chron reports and persuasion. How about looking at the impact of the Olympics on the London area, before, during and after the Olympics. What will happen to the communities, the buildings etc afterwards. Persuasion could be based around using the stadiums/facilities for a community purpose after the Olympics.
It would be interesting for the children to look at a country coming to London 2012 in pairs (each pair choosing a different country - names out of a hat) and presenting information they find out about that country to the class.
Have you seen these lessons. I think there will be some great speaking and listening from them for literacy.
