One particular day in August, the top temperature here was 16 degrees.
    Today it is 12 degrees.

Is this why I don't feel Christmassy?

Even in Glasgow it's an un-christmassy 11 degrees. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it stays this mild as, aside from the fact that absolutely loathe ice and snow, my mum and aunt are coming the 100 miles or so from the east coast for Christmas dinner as long as the weather doesn't turn nasty. As this is likely to be the last year I can do a proper family Christmas (down-sizing next year) I'd like everyone to be able to make it.
