    It was my wife's CD.
I was playing it for the children.
It was on the radio. Not my choice.

    Something doesn't add up here.

From what his wife said Cummings was obviously very ill with CV. She also had it.

Yet they were well enough to travel 250+ miles to Durham - at a time when we were being told day after day by the government 'Stay at Home - Protect the NHS - Save Lives', and the police were sending people back home who were travelling long distances.

They did that so that his wife's parents could provide child care for their son. Was that because they couldn't care for him as they were ill.? Yet they travelled the length of England....

But the child would have been exposed to CV, and should have been self-isolating - certainly not exposing elderly grandparents to the possibility of becoming infected.

That was my thought but did he have CV, was he tested, if he was they would have advised him to isolate for at least 7 days.
He effectively gave a germ spreader to his parents, I’m not sure what in all this is the worst.

I thought comments such as those were verboten.

    I'm not objecting though.

What is the point of these witch hunts? Just seems politically motivated.

They moved to the house they had access to which they thought would be the best place to self isolate, if they stayed there for 2 weeks I don't see the problem.

Travelling 250 miles and staying in a house doesn't spread the disease any more than travelling 2.5 miles and staying in a house, you are inside a car unless they stopped for petrol multiple times.

Was it the best judgement? Maybe not, everyone is doing the best they can.

We were all instructed to stay in our primary residence, come what may.

    Sheer hypocrisy.

But he's clearly in good company with many thousands. I know of five in my area alone who have done the same. Replicated nationwide, that would be in the hundreds of thousands.

    No idea.
The only person I know with two residences has stayed in his primary one.
