Ofsted during SATs week???

    You could try posting this in the Inspection forum. One of the inspectors who posts there might give you an answer.

    Our previous inspection was in SATs week, but we only had 1 inspector who watched each class teach for about 10 minutes! She observed Y6 in the afternoon.

    Our latest full inspection was in SATs week in 2008. They completely left me alone - actually said those words to me! I was worried that I would have to teach full lessons after the SAT test in the morning etc. We had a 2 day inspection, on day 1 I came back and found an inspector in my room - my heart dropped. He literally turned to me and said "do what you have to do, don't worry I won't be back" So we did circle time then chatted about the next test - didn't see an inspector at all - joy!!!
