Ofsted and expectations of KS1 Coord

Discussion in 'Primary' started by impulce, May 8, 2012.

  1. Have any KS1 Coordinators had experience of the new Ofsted framework?
We are STILL due to have Ofsted and it will be my first Ofsted. It's also my first year as the KS1 coordinator so I just want to make sure I can prepare everything I possibly can do.
I am expecting them to ask about last years Y2 data and any issues/trends/areas for development, plus how we compare to national data (Eek Not very well!). I can also talk about current Y2 data and interventions etc that are in place for this year group, and current Y1 if need be but I just wondered what their focus has been and what has been asked of KS1 coordinators under the current framework before I drive myself crazy cramming my brain with three year groups worth of data!
Any recent experiences and advice would be great.
