Ofsted 2012

Discussion in 'Headteachers' started by sonic 01, Jan 6, 2012.

  1. I've been asked by governors to give a synopsis of changes in the 2012 framework. Before i compose my own has anyone done anything for their Governors?
  2. You might not like this response but I do have synopsis that I wrote for my governors. I would not pass it on to anyone else because I found that writing it helped further my understanding of the changes and their probable impact on schools in general and mine in particular.
I would urge you and others to take the same view.

The speech by HMCI - documented on the Ofsted website - is a summary that could be used with Govs. There are also some MP4 files that can be played which detail the focus areas. Previous union mags have also included summaries.
