I am writing a song called "Somos cambiata" for boys with changing voices (Cambiata is the name for this). This is what I have...

    Somos cambiata (We are cambiata)
Somos traviesos cambiata (We are mischievous cambiata)
Amamos a los ensayos (We love to come to rehearsals)
Cantamos los sàbados (Singing on Saturdays)
    Es porque (This is why)
Odiamos a los deberes (We hate doing homework)
El canto es una excusa (Singing is one excuse)
El canto, escape perfecto (Singing is the perfect escape/getaway)
Aquì esta la traducción (Here is the translation)
Si usted no habla Español (If you don't speak Spanish)
It is then sung again, but in English.
    Many thanks for any guidance.

If moderators aren't happy for this to be here, I'll remove it, of course.

Many thanks tchristin, you're so kind. I will direct message you with a quick follow-up question if that's ok, so as not to annoy colleagues on here.

    All best
