OCR National in year 9 and NC levels

Discussion in 'Computing and ICT' started by pritprat, Dec 5, 2011.

  1. Make them up, bumping the pupils up a bit to boost their self-worth. NC levels are so vague that it doesn't matter. Average student is 5, good 6, excellnt 7, any geniuses are 8. We use 'professional judgement' and it taks 5 minutes. No one has ever questioned our levels.
  2. Very interesting, thanks for that, and others.
That's a good point. Has anyone ever been called to justify the levels they've awarded?
Does anyone else have to give sublevels as well for their school reports?
