OCR National 2010 - Unit 20, A03

Discussion in 'Computing and ICT' started by dowdija, Mar 5, 2012.

1. Please can someone help with what some of the A03 criteria is requiring. For Distinction "The animation makes effective use of:" 7 listed animation skills - does this mean that evidence of all 7 are required in the animation?
Also, for "looping of at least one individual element" - would it be appropriate to create a moving (ie spinning) graphic symbol in Flash that is then used in the animation, or does it need to be a movie clip?
Many thanks.

What are the 7 listed types of animation????
3. A looping element is a movie clip in Flash that is about a seconds worth of animation that keeps repeating itself over and over again. For instance our pupils create a drink driving campaign for their animation and make the tyres on a car spin or have someone at a bar and their arm lifts to their mouth with a pint in their hand. I believe the reason the looping element section was added to the 2010 spec was to stop people from adding spinning images as a looping sections as well as saying because the whole animation looped that was the looping part.
