OCR creative task - how did you students do

Discussion in 'Music' started by mrrickyware, Aug 28, 2011.

  1. I just wanted to see how other schools performed on this unit? I have taught OCR for 8 years and use to the marking and assessment procedures of the course!

The marking of this years creative task does not appear to be accurate!

    Suggestions?

  2. Mine were pretty much as I expected, but I know some of the responses were of a higher quality than I've submitted in previous years especially those candidates who used the lyrics. (I've also taught OCR for years and I think this was the aspect I was most worried about with the new specification.) Have you read the examiner's report?

Generally not very good - lots of our students got Cs and Ds for the creative task, but in the past they've done really well. I'll be interested to see the examiner's report and work out what they were looking for...
