We havent quite decided when we are going to do this task but we have agreed we will do some practice one(s) after their may exam module.

My big concern is that we are not doing enough practicals and of the type that use apparatus and allow them to become aquainted/skilled in its use. The modules B1 B2 B3 still barely have any practical work and it is all crammed in to B4 which we can only start teaching later.

    Any thoughts on it?

We plan to do our controlled assessments after some of the more practical topics. One of the reasons for starting GCSE in year 9 was to give time for this.
    Best wishes,

  4. Do the controlled assessment after r topic that the assessment links to so you can do a run though with them before you do it for real.
