  1. In my school there is a trend to invite examiners or learned people in to talk to/coah students before th exam. There is pressure for me to do this too except I have no idea where to start. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I run a conference every year and I invite academics in from universities. If you are teaching philosophy of religion and ethics then go on a local university's website and look up people who have specialism in that area and you can approach them directly, often if they can't do it they are usually more than happy to suggest someone else.

Once you have established a link and treated them well at your conference then they will be happy to come in at future events.
