NQT unable to find term one assessment induction form

    Hey fellow educators,

I am an experienced NQT with two terms of my induction to complete. I taught overseas in Summer 2013 and have recently returned. I completed my first term at a school in Spring 2013 (Maternity Cover post). It was not the best assessment but I have improved and am to start teaching a subject which I am more comfortable with.

I am to begin my first teaching post in the UK since Summer 2013 and the academy has agreed to help me with completing my remaining two terms of my NQT Induction. The problem is, I can not find my Term One Assessment Form to show that I have completed term one of my NQT induction. I have searched high and low but to no avail.

Does anybody know if I need that form to show that I have completed one term of my induction before I can start the other two?

    Thanks in advance

Or it should be registered and they should be able to access from the NQT people. Sorry don’t know what they are called

The school or you can contact the Appropriate Body as NQT records have to be kept for 5 years. You can also check online teacher registration to ensure your record is up to date via Teacher self service website.
